After 4.75 hours at the House of Rusell, in Sidney, I am blonde. For a little while, it was bright orange, and I was really scared. But Dean knew what he was doing. Now I get to find out if blondes do have more fun.

My name is Yolande DeMont, aka Yo. I am a lifelong brunette. I have been dared to go blonde. If I reach my goal of raising $2,000 .00 for the Family Caregiver Network Society, I will take the bleach plunge.
Some of you know me from Salvador Davis & Co, Notaries Public, and more recently its' sister company, Peace of Mind Asset Management. Last year I joined the board of the Family Caregiver Network Society, a wonderful group of people striving to deliver support to the thousands of unpaid caregivers in our region.
One of the things I have learned in my time at Peace of Mind, is, that it takes a community of people to bring quality of life to a person needing care. There is a very steep learning curve for caregivers. There are many resources designed to help, if you know they are there.
The Family Caregiver Network Society is a not-for-profit society whose mission is to inform, support and educate on issues of concern to family caregivers of adults in the Capital Regional FCNS promotes the significance of the family caregiver's role and contribution in the healthcare system.
